Our most capable radio for long power cuts, camping and the car. The 4,500 mAh rechargeable battery runs the radio and lights for many hours and can top up a phone. Charge it by USB-C day to day, and use the hand crank or solar panel when there is no mains power. A large LCD display makes tuning easy, and the 3W torch, reading light and SOS alarm help in the dark.

Questions about this product

Will it work in a long power cut?

Yes – it does not need mains power. Charge it in advance by USB, then top it up by winding the crank or leaving the solar panel in daylight. The Be Ready campaign advises writing down the FM frequencies of your local and national stations and keeping them with your kit.
