Who is responsible for your data

Hypegadgets (Botterstraat 47 (Lumen building), 1271 XL Huizen, the Netherlands) is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Contact: hypegadgets@outlook.com.

What we collect and why

• Order details (name, delivery address, e-mail, phone, items ordered) to process and deliver your order and provide customer service. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Payment information is handled by Mollie B.V.; we only receive confirmation of payment and the payment method used.
• Marketing e-mails only if you tick the box at checkout. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Accounting records are kept for 6 years as required by UK law.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers needed to run the shop: our payment provider (Mollie), our hosting and database providers, our e-mail provider, and the supplier and delivery company that dispatch and deliver your order. We never sell your data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. E-mail us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies and local storage

We only use strictly necessary storage: your basket and checklist progress are saved in your browser’s local storage, and administrators use a secure login cookie. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, so no cookie banner is required. If we add analytics in future we will ask for your consent first.
